EVAHEART MEDICAL was founded in Pittsburgh, PA to introduce the EVAHEART Left Ventricular Assist System (LVAS) to healthcare professionals and to patients suffering from congestive heart failure in the United States. In 2010, we were approved to initiate an US clinical trial for use as a bridge to transplant from the United States Food and Drug Administration (FDA).

IDE application for the EVAHEART LVAS is approved for use as a bridge to transplantation. A clinical trial is in process.
